A Request for Naxx40 Gear
I understand your desire to keep the server feeling as blizzlike as possible & want to refrain from adding too much custom content into the world. My original wish was to bring back the original Naxxramas raid, but this might be too much of an undertaking, especially with the old Naxx data being saved over with the new data.
Instead, we have come up with an alternative. Add a vendor to Light's Hope Chapel with all the original Naxx40 gear and have every final boss in each Vanilla Raid drop a token. This token can be used to purchase items from the vendor. ( Similar to badges at Lv. 70 & 80 ) You can determine the appropriate cost of these items. Besides PvP titles, this is the only other addition to the game that we ask for, we believe that the people outside of our community would appreciate this for transmog collecting, and that it doesn't negatively impact the game in any way. I believe that this is a fun idea that will give people more to do outside of the usual end game grind. Ultimately, we just want a way to obtain this gear. We hope you take this idea into consideration.

Hello, we are a group of friends that come from Classic and have been really enjoying our time on this server. The bots are fun to play with and doing BGs & Raids with them has been an absolute blast and surprisingly sometimes challenging. We are a community of people that enjoy playing the game capped at 60 but are not so interested in playing on the regular Vanilla client, we enjoy the higher speed pace, freedom and QOL that the WOTLK client brings us. We are here for the long haul, and have decided that this is a place to call home.

12-16-2025, 01:00 AM #2Yes I feel since this is a wrath only server, then the naxx 40 gear was never obtainable by human players. However the level 60 bots have naxx gear and it would be nice if it was obtainable somehow by players.

12-17-2025, 02:41 AM #3I always enjoyed raiding Naxx. being able to obtain that gear would be awesome! Having a vendor to purchase the gear from and collecting the tokens would make a nice fun twist that I don't believe would change the game away from being Blizzlike.

I also enjoy playing at level 60 on the WotLK client specifically because of the improved pacing and quality-of-life features, and I think the proposed token system fits very naturally within that environment. Tying the original Naxxramas 40 gear to tokens earned from existing Vanilla raid content feels like a clean and blizzlike way to make that gear accessible without adding new raids, quests, or invasive custom systems.
From my perspective, this wouldn’t negatively impact progression or balance at all. The content already exists, the gear is largely legacy at this point, and the suggested implementation keeps acquisition tied to raid completion rather than handouts. It gives players an additional long-term goal at level 60 and encourages continued participation in Vanilla raids that might otherwise fall off once loot needs are met.
I also think this would appeal to a wider audience beyond the group that originally suggested it. Transmog collectors, completionists, and players who simply enjoy working toward iconic gear sets would all have something meaningful to pursue, without taking anything away from players who prefer the current setup.
Overall, this seems like a thoughtful, low-impact addition that respects the server’s blizzlike philosophy while adding longevity and replay value to level-60 content. I hope it’s something the team considers.
